50 Great Places to take the Kids in NJ

You don’t have to head to Manhattan to have an entertaining day with the kids. New Jersey has a ton of engaging activities that will quickly fill up your child’s social calendar.  Take a look at our Round Up of  50 Great Spots to visit and see how many you can check off the list.


  1. The Jersey Cape offers something for everyone, from great fishing and biking to water parks and amusement rides.
  2. Boardwalks. Walk the iconic wooden paths and along the way, the aroma of sausage, funnel cake and pork roll is a constant yet pleasing presence. Also, you’ll find rides and arcades for kids, a wide beach, restaurants, bars and even an aquarium.
  3. Visit the Animals, Ride the Train and Enjoy a Pony Ride at the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange.
  4. Play Golf.
